Beijing Essen Welding and Cutting Exhibition (BEW) is co-sponsored by China Institute of Mechanical Engineering, China Institute of Mechanical Engineering Welding Branch, China Welding Association, China Welding Association Welding Equipment Branch, Germany Welding Society and Germany Essen Exhibition Company. It is one of the world's two major professional welding exhibitions and attracts every year. Tens of thousands of professionals, such as distributors, agents, research institutions, government departments, management and procurement departments, came to visit the welding industry at home and abroad.

BEW has successfully held its nineteenth session. The scale of the exhibition has been expanding year by year. In addition to the increasing number of new manufacturers, well-known large enterprises such as Lincoln, Panasonic, China Telecom Huaqiang, Jinqiao, Kaiyuan Group, ABB and Beijing Times have participated in the exhibition annually, ensuring the quality and standard of the exhibition. The 19th Beijing Essen Welding and Cutting Exhibition has a total area of 92,700 square meters and a net area of 36,657 square meters (4073 standard booths). It has 1,019 exhibitors from 27 countries and regions, including 208 international exhibitors. During the exhibition, 46,406 visitors from 51 countries and regions visited the exhibition. The exhibition audience mainly comes from machinery manufacturing, pressure vessel, automobile manufacturing, railway locomotive, oil pipeline, ship, aerospace and other industries. More than 100 domestic and foreign professional magazines, related exhibitions, the Internet and other media all-round publicity and coverage of the exhibition.

As the largest and most influential welding event, BEW will integrate resources to provide a platform Exhibition for both domestic and foreign welding manufacturers to be able to export as well as domestic trade. At the same time, government departments, experts, scholars and manufacturers will be invited to hold technical lectures on new products, as well as welding forums and welding technology seminars for the industry.
